GLEN BURNIE, Md. — Two Glen Burnie residents were arrested after detectives executing a search warrant uncovered suspected cocaine, fentanyl pills, psychedelic mushrooms, and more than $36,000 in cash during a drug investigation on March 5, 2026.
According to police, detectives with the Eastern District Strategic Patrol Team, assisted by the Northern District Strategic Patrol Team, conducted the investigation that led to the search and seizure warrant at a residence on Forestdale Avenue.
Prior to the warrant being served by the department’s Quick Response Team, investigators detained one of the suspects, David Angelo Figlia, 30, of Glen Burnie, at the Royal Farms located at 400 Camp Meade Road.
When officers entered the residence, they encountered a second suspect, Jade Eve Geraldine Dufour, 24, of Glen Burnie, exiting a second-floor bathroom. Investigators later determined that several large bags of suspected cocaine had been discarded into the toilet.
During the search of the home, detectives recovered numerous items associated with drug distribution, including 14.71 grams of suspected cocaine, 50.55 grams of suspected pressed fentanyl pills, nine suspected Suboxone strips, 35 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and approximately nine grams of suspected alprazolam (29 pills). Officers also seized two digital scales, packaging materials, and more than $36,000 in U.S. currency.
Figlia and Dufour were arrested and charged with multiple offenses including possession of controlled dangerous substances, possession with intent to distribute narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Dufour was additionally charged with obstructing and hindering and altering physical evidence in a criminal proceeding.
Court records show Figlia initially received a $100,000 bail and later posted $10,000 through a corporate bond.
A hearing is set for March 11, 2026 in Anne Arundel District Court in Annapolis.
