Authorities in St. Mary’s County are investigating a serious crash that occurred this morning in Chingville.
Rescue crews responded to 21910 Point Lookout Road just south of Winters Sheet Metal for report of an accident with injuries around 6:40 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 13. Crews arrived on the scene to discover two vehicles involved, a purple Camaro and a Silver Chevrolet Tahoe.
The female driver of the Camaro was initially trapped, but rescue crews quickly extricated the woman from her vehicle. Two patients were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No word on the cause of the crash or if any charges have been made.
