
CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – On October 18, 2024, at approximately 5:30 p.m., fire and rescue personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Ponds Wood Road and Bayside Road.
Crews arrived to find the two-vehicle collision with two occupants trapped in a vehicle off the roadway. Firefighters extricated the trapped occupants from the vehicle and turned over to EMS for care.

One patient was transported to CalvertHealth Medical Center for treatment. The second patient signed a care refusal on the scene.
Police continue to investigate the collision.

of course. another deadly suv not obeying the law. my worse fear with youngings in my car. it is not even safe to drive in daylight!! come on calvert. I hope the sedan driver is okay. doesn’t look good. this could be anyone!!! People need to start losing their licenses for not stopping at lights, signs and driving around people!!
