Charlotte Hall, MD – The Charles County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Friday morning, Sept. 16 that the driver of a vehicle that was driven off Ryceville Road and into a ditch has died. Sheriff’s spokeswoman Diane Richardson told The BayNet the victim was a 20-year-old man who was believed to fallen ill prior to the accident. A death investigation is underway.
The victim’s identity has not been released.

Charlotte Hall, MD – One injured motorist is being transported to a nearby hospital. A crash reconstruction team from Charles County is en route to conduct an investigation.
