Charles County Sheriffโs detectives have identified the woman whose identity they were seeking relating to the Mange homicide investigation. It has been determined the woman has absolutely no information relating to the case. Anyone who has additional information regarding the shooting of Richard Mange is asked to call Det. Update June 15
Charles County Sheriffโs detectives are continuing their investigation into the murder of Robert Mange who was shot on May 20.
Two people have already been arrested and charged in this case. As part of the investigation, detectives are asking the publicโs help in identifying the woman in the attached photos.
The woman is not a suspect in this crime, but investigators would like to contact her.

On May 20 at approximately 5:48 p.m., officers responded to the McDonaldโs located at 11025 Mall Circle in Waldorf for a shooting.
Upon arrival officers found two adult victims, a 25 year-old male and a 24 year-old female, located in the parking lot. Both victims were transported to area hospitals.
The male victim, Robert Michael Mange, 25, Smithfield, VA, was later pronounced dead. The female suffered one gunshot wound but is expected to survive.
Accused Caroline Conway was identified as the person who shot them and was later located and arrested. Motive appears to be an ongoing child custody dispute. Investigation is ongoing.

Update May 21, 10:54 a.m.
Caroline Marie Conway, 51, of Waldorf Md. has been apprehended and charged after the shooting that occurred on May 20 in Waldorf. She has been charged with the following:
- Two counts of reckless endangermentย
- Firearm used in a felony/violent crime
- Handgun on person
- Two counts of first degreeย assault
- Two counts of second degree assaultย
- Attempted first degree murder
- First degree murder

According to Charles County Sheriff’s Office PIO, Diane RIchardson, the male victim has died. The female victim remains in critical condition. More information to come later today.
UPDATE WEDNESDAY EVENING, MAY 20, 9:15 p.m.
Waldorf, MD – The Charles County Sheriff’s Office reported that the female suspect in a double shooting that occurred around 6 p.m. outside a McDonald’s in Waldorf has been apprehended and is in custody.ย
The victims, a man and woman, were transported to the hospital.
No names have been released at this time. Investigators say the three involved in the incident knew each other.

Waldorf, MD – The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that at around 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 two people were shot in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Mall Circle Drive.ย
According to sheriff’s office spokeswoman Diane Richardson, a man and woman were shot by an unidentified female. The shooting appears to be domestic-related.
Both victims were transported to hospitals. The male victim was reported in critical condition while the female victim is reported in serious condition.
The shooter is still at-large but Richardson confirmed investigators are in the process of developing a suspect.ย
Waldorf, MD – The Bay Net has learned that sometime during the early evening hours of Wednesday, May 20 that an apparent shooting incident occurred at the St. Charles Town Center Mall. A reliable source has confirmed that police are on the scene.
