On October 3, 2012 Deputy Teague responded to St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Maryland for a report of an assault. Deputy Teague interviewed the victim who reported that on October 2, 2012 he and Jorge Hernandez Menchaca, 38 of California, Maryland engaged in a verbal dispute.
The verbal dispute escalated into a physical assault when Menchaca kicked the victim in the leg and punched the victim several times in the face. The victim suffered a fractured leg and was transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital.
Deputy Teague located and interviewed Menchaca. As a result of the investigation, Menchaca was arrested and charged with first and second degree assault.
He is currently incarcerated in the St. Mary’s County Detention Center held on a $10,000 bond.
