WALDORF, Md. โ Five people were transported to Charles Regional Medical Center Saturday afternoon after a vehicle rollover on Crain Highway near Gillespie Circle. The Waldorf vehicle rollover occurred around 12:08 p.m. on September 6, 2025, near the intersection of Crain Highway and Gillespie Circle.
According to dispatch, the incident initially involved two vehicles with one overturning onto its side. Subsequently, multiple Charles County emergency units responded to assist the injured occupants.
Emergency Medical Services found five people requiring medical attention at the scene. Paramedics evaluated all patients and determined multiple transport units would be needed.
The Waldorf vehicle rollover required coordination between multiple emergency units. The victims included a 36-year-old man complaining of back pain, a 38-year-old woman with shoulder and knee pain, a 14-year-old, and a 10-year-old. Officials noted all patients as conscious, alert, and breathing upon arrival of emergency crews.
Emergency crews transported patients to Charles Regional Medical Center with Priority 3 status. Additionally, the extended emergency response lasted over an hour as crews managed multiple patients. Officials indicated all patients received appropriate care in their incident classification.
The cause of the vehicle rollover remains under investigation.
