Vehicles entering Mattawoman from Council Oak drive regularly fail to yield to traffic turning left from Mattawoman onto Council Oak drive. That coupled with vehicles doing 70 in a 45 on Mattawoman. How many accidents before a traffic light?
“Vehicles entering Mattawoman from Council Oak Drive regularly fail to yield”, you mean fail to ‘STOP’ at the Stop sign, while “traffic turning left from Mattawoman onto Council Oak Drive” only have a ‘YIELD’ sign, which means they clearly have the right of way. Clearly people breaking the law without consequences, until the Big One happens.
Mattawoman-Beantown Road was much safer when the speed limit was 50 MPH and there was only one lane in each direction.
By the way, this particular ‘accident’ was 1.25+/- miles south of Council Oak Drive.
