GREAT MILLS, Md. — St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks is bringing back a summer favorite, with registration now open for its Adult Co-Ed Kickball League at Chancellor’s Run Regional Park.

The recreational league, open to adults ages 18 and up, will run from early June through the beginning of August, with games scheduled every Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ball Field 2.

Designed to be both competitive and fun, the league follows a format similar to baseball, where teams aim to outscore their opponents while enjoying a relaxed, social atmosphere. Officials say the goal is to promote participation, teamwork, and community engagement.

Teams must have a minimum of 10 players to register and are required to include both a catcher and pitcher. League rules also require at least three female players to be on the field at all times.

The cost to participate is $500 for county residents and $550 for non-residents. Registration is open through May 22 at noon.

Organizers encourage teams to sign up early, as space may be limited.

Those interested in registering or learning more about the league can visit the St. Mary’s County Recreation & Parks website or contact the department directly at RPinfo@stmaryscountymd.gov or by calling 301-475-4200 ext. 1800.
