ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A 46-year-old Annapolis man was arrested Tuesday after Anne Arundel County Police detectives seized a large quantity of illegal drugs, cash and paraphernalia from a home in the 1500 block of Lodge Pole Court.
On July 8, 2025, officers executed a search warrant at the residence following a narcotics investigation launched in June by Eastern District detectives into suspected drug distribution. According to police, the raid resulted in the recovery of approximately 17 grams of suspected cocaine, 5 grams of crack cocaine, 790 grams of suspected anabolic steroids in 19 vials, 11 grams of an unknown white powder, a digital scale, and $39,850 in cash.
The suspect, identified as Robert Lee Deaton III, was taken into custody at the scene and has been charged with multiple drug-related offenses, including two felony counts of possession with intent to distribute, as well as misdemeanor charges for drug possession and paraphernalia.
Court records show Deaton was initially held on a $5,000 corporate bond, which was posted on the day of his arrest. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 6 in Annapolis Circuit Court.
The case remains under investigation.
