Charred Motorcycle Found On Private Property In Leonardtown

LEONARDTOWN, Md. — The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a motorcycle fire that occurred recently on a private property in Leonardtown.

On August 18, 2024, at 7:58 p.m., investigators responded to a residence on Parson’s Mill Road, near Dove Pt Lane, to inspect the scene. A resident had discovered the charred remains of a motorcycle on a remote section of his private road. The fire is believed to have occurred sometime on August 17, 2024.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported. However, the estimated loss to the vehicle is valued at $38,000.00.

The incident remains under investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to contact the Office of the State Fire Marshal, Southern Regional Office, at 410-414-3611.

  1. First of all, who owns that trike? Anyone that lives on that property or is this a random trike just dumped and burned there? Vin # intact?
