LEONARDTOWN, Md. — Flour Donuts & Bakery, a staple in downtown Leonardtown, announced this morning, Sept. 11, 2025 that it will permanently close its doors on Sunday, Sept. 14, at 3 p.m.
The bakery thanked loyal staff and customers for their support over the years. As part of its farewell, the shop is offering 50 percent off case items while supplies last.
Known for its donuts, breads and baked goods, Flour Donuts & Bakery has been a popular stop for locals and visitors alike. The announcement drew an immediate response online, with customers sharing memories of weekend mornings at the shop and expressing appreciation for the team behind the counter.
The owners did not provide additional details about the decision to close but emphasized gratitude to their community.
The bakery will remain open through the weekend, with its final day of service set for Sept. 14.
