LEONARDTOWN, Md. Helen’s Café & Catering officially reopened Wednesday, July 2, bringing back its signature homestyle cooking — this time in a fully renovated space at the former Kevin’s Corner Kafé building on Point Lookout Road.

After closing nearly a year ago, the beloved Southern Maryland eatery returns with expanded hours and a modernized farmhouse interior. The new café will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Owners shared that the Leonardtown location has undergone a floor-to-ceiling transformation, including new flooring, windows, roofing, paint and minor exterior upgrades — while preserving the country charm that longtime customers remember.
