CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. – It’s the Holiday Season in the Town of Chesapeake Beach!  Town Hall will be closing at 12pm on Wednesday, November 27th and will reopen for regular business hours on Monday, December 2nd.

There are many fun activities ahead to include Light up the Town, our Holiday lights tour by trolley, and more! See below for all of the details!

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1st – Join your friends and neighbors from 4pm to 6pm as the Town Hall Complex is transformed into our own Christmas Market!  Kicking off with holiday tunes in the chambers from the Beach Elementary School orchestra, guests will be able to shop from local vendors, craft with CBOCS, warm by the firepit, and of course, watch as the mayor flips the switch to Light Up the Town!  Also featuring a visit from the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department who will be selling their Christmas trees on site!

Let’s really Light this Town UP!  Residents are encouraged to consider submitting your home, boat or business for this year’s Barbara “Jo” Finch’s Brightest Beacon on the Bay Contest!  Submissions are open now until December 9th!  Entries will be judged by the community during the Holiday Lights Tour!

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 14TH – Come Tour the Town on our Holiday Trolley to view and vote on your favorite submission for the Barbara “Jo” Finch’s Brightest Beacon on the Bay Contest!  The Trolley will do 3 separate runs of the route at 4:30pm, 5:30pm, and 6:30pm, starting and stopping from Kellam’s Field.  Hosted by Santa’s Favorite Elf, providing historical tidbits of our beautiful Town, this event is a favorite for all ages!

Holiday Donations at Town Hall

Don’t forget about your Angels and Silver Bells!  If you picked an Angel Tag off the tree in Town Hall, please remember to bring your bagged present(s) back in by Monday, December 2nd!

Toys for Tots is still ongoing!  Drop off your unwrapped donations by December 11th to the Town Hall atrium and help make someone’s holiday a little brighter.
