Bet she was cooperative and kind throughout this ordeal.
This woman should go to jail for a while for what she did, putting kids at risk like that. We need to strongly discourage this behavior. That said, I think we have a problem with our justice system. There are 11 charges here. I donโt know the sentencing guidelines but something tells me you could murder somebody with a hammer be looking at less time than this woman is. The system is setup with the hope that prosecutors and the judges will apply common sense and in most cases I think that happens. But the way it is, it leaves the door open for injustice and unequal application of the law. Had this been me I might have gotten off with a speeding ticket and a simple DUI because Iโm white, polite, a government employee, or whatever other factor might play into an officerโs decision to โthrow the bookโ at somebody. We need to simplify our laws to avoid this type of thing if we really want equitable outcomes. But seriously, send her to jail for a couple months anyways. Sheโs lucky she didnโt end up like that recent case in St Maryโs.
Where’s the child endangerment charges at ?
