Maliki Maurice Proctor

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Maliki Maurice Proctor, 19, of Lexington Park, was arrested on Oct. 31, 2025, on three counts of first-degree assault and three counts of second-degree assault, according to court documents.

The charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred on Oct. 12, 2025. Charging documents allege that Proctor assaulted three separate victims. An arrest warrant was issued following the incident, and he was taken into custody without bond.

Court records show that Proctor also has other open cases pending, which are unrelated to the Oct. 12 charges. One involves a misdemeanor theft charge, and another stems from an Aug. 1, 2025, incident that led to assault-related charges and the issuance of a peace order.

Proctor remains in custody pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Dec. 1, 2025.

Under Maryland law, first-degree assault carries a maximum penalty of 25 years in prison, while second-degree assault carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or a $2,500 fine, if convicted.
