Investigation Underway

BRYANS ROAD, Md. — A 60-year-old man was transported to an area trauma center Friday evening following a reported stabbing in Bryans Road.

Emergency crews were dispatched at approximately 6:22 p.m. on February 27, 2026, to the 2300 block of Pomonkey Creek Place. Charles County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to find the victim conscious, alert and breathing with visible blood loss.

First responders determined the man sustained two stab wounds to the left side of his body, including injuries near the hip and lower torso. EMS personnel also reported possible broken ribs.

After being treated at the scene, the victim was transported by ambulance to an area trauma center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

No information regarding a suspect or what led to the incident has been released.

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation.
