LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – Caitlin Vallandingham has joined The Patuxent Partnership (TPP) as the new Finance Director.
In her role as Finance Director, Vallandingham will direct and manage TPP’s financial activities. She will be responsible for grant management and project accounting, leading the annual audit process, implementing business policies and accounting practices, maintaining internal controls and financial procedures, and overseeing the use of all funds.
Caitlin also will have oversight of our Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA). As a certified provider since 1999, TPP details TPP employees, recognized as experts in their fields, to government agencies to serve in senior management and subject matter expert positions.
Caitlin has 25+ years of experience driving mission-critical outcomes across R&D, technology transition, and major defense acquisition programs. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy, design, and delivery—helping organizations move to actionable solutions that get funded, built, and adopted.
Prior to joining TPP, she spent 12 years as a Director, Strategic Engagement and Innovation at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD).

Caitlin holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science – BS, Psychology, from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
She describes her passions as a proud sideline super-fan of her kid’s sport, a boating enthusiast and waterfront living fan, a crazy plant lady, and a Key West escapee.
