SOUTHERN MARYLAND — Thanksgiving weekend wraps up and the region heads straight into holiday events, tree lightings and community traditions. In St. Mary’s County, Piney Point Lighthouse Museum is rolling out a full slate of December programming, including the Evening Tides Christmas Candlelight event, the Interlocking Building Bricks Lighthouse Challenge and a Family Holiday Open House.
The community can also explore a variety of seasonal guides, including the Best Christmas Lights in Maryland 2025, a roundup of holiday craft fairs and bazaars across Southern Maryland, and a dedicated list of where Santa and the Grinch will be making appearances throughout December.
