AVENUE, Md. — Elizabeth Rose Hall, 30, of Avenue, has been arrested in connection with multiple alleged domestic assault incidents involving the same victim, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. The most recent incident occurred on Sept. 6, 2025, when deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance that authorities say resulted in significant injuries to the victim.

Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, who reportedly had severe swelling to his eyebrow and face, a swollen-shut eye, and was bleeding from facial injuries. The victim told investigators Hall allegedly struck him in the face with an unknown object, which he initially believed to be a brick but said he did not actually see. Hall denied striking the victim, according to court documents. She was placed under arrest and charged with second-degree assault.

According to court documents, the September arrest follows an earlier incident on March 23, 2025, when deputies were called to a residence in Avenue for a reported domestic assault involving the same individuals. During that incident, the victim stated Hall was allegedly intoxicated and claimed she had kicked him in the back and punched him in the face. Deputies reported observing visible injuries, including swelling to the victim’s forehead and an injury to his lower back, which they described as consistent with the reported assault.

Police records show that Hall provided a differing account of the March altercation, claiming the victim allegedly initiated the confrontation by smacking the headphones out of her ear. She stated she struck the victim in response but denied punching or kicking him. Deputies noted Hall did not have any visible injuries consistent with her claims. Hall was subsequently arrested and charged with second-degree assault in that case as well.

Court records indicate a bench warrant was issued for Hall’s arrest after she failed to appear for a scheduled court proceeding related to the March incident. A preliminary inquiry hearing is currently scheduled for Oct. 24, 2025, in the District Court of Maryland for St. Mary’s County.

Under Maryland Criminal Law, second-degree assault carries a maximum penalty of up to 10 years’ imprisonment and/or a $2,500 fine, if convicted. Hall was arrested for the warrant on Oct. 12, 2025, and no further details regarding her custody status have been released.
