World Class Billiard Room Waldorf Cleared To Host Karaoke Nights

WALDORF, Md. — On Oct. 9, 2025, the Charles County Board of License Commissioners gave the green light for World Class Billiard Room LLC to expand its entertainment offerings, paving the way for karaoke nights, birthday parties, and special events at one of Waldorf’s newest nightlife destinations.

Owners appeared before the board to request an addition to their Class B/T (tavern) beer, wine and spirituous liquors (on-sale) license. They said the update will allow them to offer more activities for guests who don’t play pool but want to enjoy the venue’s relaxed, social atmosphere for gatherings and events.

Since opening, World Class Billiard Room has maintained a clean record with no license violations or law enforcement calls. While the surrounding area occasionally receives service calls from the sheriff’s office, none have originated from this business, according to the board’s discussion.

Located at 2720 Crain Highway in Waldorf, the establishment promotes itself as “the newest hot spot in Southern Maryland,” offering pool tables, local beers, cocktails, happy hour specials, and weekend tournaments.

After approving the request, board members wished the owners continued success as they expand entertainment options for Southern Maryland patrons.

Guests can rent pool tables for $10 per hour during happy hour and $15 per hour at other times. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Junior Billiards League

World Class Billiard Room also supports youth development through its Junior Billiards League, which meets Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. for players ages 12 to 17. The $10 cash league fee covers lessons and weekly play, with participants learning precision, skill and sportsmanship under adult supervision.
