FATAL ACCIDENT IN SOUTHERN MARYLAND

SEVERN, Md. — A 22-year-old Easton man was killed and a 20-year-old Easton woman injured late Sunday night, June 15, 2025, after a fiery single-vehicle crash on Route 32 East near the Telegraph Road overpass in Severn.

Anne Arundel County police said a 2021 Chevrolet Camaro left the roadway around 10:50 p.m., struck the center median guardrail, and came to rest in the median before catching fire. Firefighters responded and extinguished the blaze.

The driver was taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

The crash remains under investigation by the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Traffic Safety Section.
